SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn: The Scary Truths of Networking
DESCRIPTION:As business owners or professionals\, we are told to get out there and network in order to improve\, but sometimes it feels as though when we attend\, we are just standing there in a room full of strangers. Brian Prairie of Ravenspring Creative will be enlightening us with his tools of the trade on how to get the best results out of your networking events. \n\nGiving back to the community drives Brian to make Ravenspring Creative and himself better. Brian shares his joy of creating art with the public through Feed Arts and Cultural Center. He has been a member of this fine organization since its inception three years ago. He volunteers for Merchant Street Music Fest\, a wonderfully eclectic gathering of music and art. He has been honored by his peers for his involvement in the community by receiving the '40 Under 40 Award' in Kankakee. It's not about accolades or awards for Brian. "Helping the community grow isn't giving back\, it's something you do when you have the means to do so."
