DESCRIPTION:All businesses operating in Illinois with more than one employee must provide a minimum of one hour of sexual harassment training to all employees (including short-term employees\, part-time employees\, interns\, and contractors).\n\nThis training must be completed by December 31\, 2020\, and conducted annually. The training must meet minimum standards laid out by the Illinois Department of Human Rights under The Workplace Transparency Act. \n\nKCCASA has developed a one-hour training program that meets and exceeds all requirements. During this season of social distancing\, KCCASA is providing this free training through Zoom. A certificate will be e-mailed to those who participate in and complete the one-hour virtual session. \n\n\n\nFor many\, business operations have slowed\, and/or employees are working from home\, and this may a good time to complete this mandated training. \nKCCASA can also provide additional sexual assault training tailored to your organization. If you are interested in setting up sexual harassment or any additional training at this time\, please contact Amy at astroo@kc-casa.org.
